[Energy][International Cooperation] 2010 International Conference on Sustainable Biomass -Symposium on Biomass Energies in Taiwan & France (Chinese Version)
NCKU Research Express (2011/06/24) With the gradual depletion of fossil fuels, research into Renewable Energy, Energy Saving Technology, and Energy Strategy, has become more and more urgent. European Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) lasts from 2007 to 2013 with a total budget €50.5 billion. To follow up the FP6 research results, FP7 adopts the theme of “innovation” suggested by specialists from various fields to enter the new era of technology. FP7 is made up of 4 main blocks of activities forming 4 specific programmes including Cooperation, People, Ideas and Capacities plus Euratom and Joint Research Centre (JRC).
Therefore, in order to understand the operation of the FP7 and to promote cooperation between Taiwan and European Union, Energy National Contact Point participated the conferences which held on July 8th and 9th at Brussels. The conferences included FP7 Energy Research Information Day and Public Private Partnerships (PPPs). Furthermore, our group also invited to the reception party of new representatives of Taiwan.
